individual counseling (in person or telehealth)
WORK WITH Mary
Therapy is a collaborative process that provides a safe and confidential space for individuals to explore their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and experiences. The primary goal of individual counseling is to help clients understand themselves better, identify and cope with challenges, and work towards their personal goals. Sessions can take place either in person or via secure video conferencing platforms.
What to expect:
Counseling is beneficial for individuals facing a wide range of concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, grief, self-esteem struggles, and life transitions. It offers a supportive environment for self-exploration, self-discovery, and personal growth. Clients can develop a deeper understanding of themselves, improve their overall well-being, and enhance their emotional and psychological resilience.

Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy healing practice that promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and supports the body’s natural healing processes. Originating in Japan, Reiki involves a practitioner channeling healing energy through their hands, either lightly touching or hovering just above the body. It is often used as a complementary therapy alongside conventional treatments to enhance well-being on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels.
What to expect:
A Reiki session is a calming experience designed to help you relax and restore balance. You'll lie fully clothed on a comfortable massage table or sit in a chair. The practitioner will place their hands lightly on or just above specific, non invasive areas of your body, following a set sequence or intuitively guided flow. You may feel sensations such as warmth, tingling, or a deep sense of peace—though every experience is unique.
Sessions usually last between 30 to 60 minutes, and there's no pressure to talk. Many people report feeling deeply relaxed, emotionally lighter, or even energized afterward. Reiki is gentle, safe, and suitable for all ages.
Disclaimer: Reiki is not a substitute for mental health counseling, psychotherapy, or medical treatment. Reiki sessions are offered independently from licensed therapy services. Clients receiving both services will be asked to consent separately for each.
